Ok, ok, I was a little lazy in 2008 but 2009 is here now and there’s big changes coming to JCP this year. For starters, the track is moving. We’re still going to be located in Johnson County Park, about 1 1/2 miles south on Schoolhouse Rd. We will be directly West of the RC Flying Field closer to Schoolhouse Rd. As an added bonus for moving, the plan right now is to have two, yes TWO, tracks! Tentatively primary nitro track to be roughly 200’ x 120’ and then we will have a smaller more electric/Slash friendly track next to it. In the coming weeks we’ll be looking for volunteers to help out with the move and getting the new tracks up and going for the upcoming outdoor season. Please check the forum often for updates on what’s going on and work days. The forum gets far more hits and is updated quite regularly once we get into the season.
We’ve also secured a date for RC Pro Series Midwest Division. Round 3 for the division will take place the weekend of September 11-13, hopefully the weather will cooperate this year.
